Secondary Mastery Specialist Programme
Would you like to become a Secondary Teaching Maths for Mastery Specialist?
Origin Maths Hub are looking for enthusiastic secondary mathematics teachers to take part in a fully funded two year professional development programme leading to the designation of Secondary Mastery Specialist.
Secondary Mastery Specialists are key agents in supporting development and sustained change in schools. This programme gives teachers an opportunity to develop a range of effective classroom practices as well as developing their skills in leading and managing change.
During the programme you will receive fully funded professional development from experts, have time to develop your own expertise, and then to support others.
Over 1000 secondary mastery specialists have been trained and are now working in schools to improve the experiences and outcomes for their students. The government has committed substantial funding to support the expansion of teaching for mastery in the coming years, and funding is now available to support the development of an eleventh cohort of Secondary Mastery Specialists in 2026-27.
